Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married for 9 years. My husband Raffaele and I have 2 wonderful kids who are 8 and 6. We are very fortunate that our kids have cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents who live close by.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love decorating and designing cookies. I find it very therapeutic. Decorating a cookie is like an adult colouring book, but at the end you can eat the masterpiece. One of the jobs I had in the past was a Rewards and Recognition Supervisor when my role was to motivate the staff with bonus plans and fun incentives tied to performance. It was a lot of fun as I could be creative and make work fun for the staff.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Oh my goodness there is so many. I love Mexico Lindos, Butchies, Chatterpauls, Snuffy’s, Harvest. Dessert places I love Crave Doughnuts, Hollywood Cone and Sprinkles n Dip. I can keep going lol.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived/worked in Whitby for the past 11 years.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Believe it or not, I have never been to an a tropical all inclusive resort, I think I would like to go somewhere like that. I would also like to visit Italy.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I can recite the whole series of Friends line for line (I don’t know if that’s a brag or just sad lol). I love The Office, Schitts Creek, Kim’s Convivence, Brooklyn 99, Suits, Community, Younger, The New Girl, oh so many more

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be open and honest with people. Tell them what you think, tell them how you feel. Life is way too short for not saying what is in your heart.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I have to get back to you on this, no one has ever asked me this.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
I would say Oasis

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Definitely Brock Street Brewery. It just screams WHITBY!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
The Rock. He has such a great work ethic, family man, philanthropist, and I am a huge fan (since he was a wrestler). I think we would go to either Brock House for steak or Stacked Pancake house for pancakes.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favourite thing about Whitby is how close and accessible the water front is. I love that we can just jump in the car and shoot down there and in moments we are at the waters edge.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Running a cookie empire, or retired after winning the lottery (fingers crossed lol)

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
My face was printed tickets to a Maple Leafs game a few years back

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Vancouver.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
Month would be July because the kids are out of school. Favourite holiday would be Christmas because its filled with family and friends and everyone is generally happy and nicer around that time. I have two best days on the calendar, and those are the days I became a mother.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My mother. My goodness she has been through so much. She is a warrior and a giver. She is an amazing person who for her whole life put her family above herself.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
Moms home cooking and when I bake cookies.
