Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My father is in marketing at Chase and my mother is a recruiter for Telus Health. I have a 10 year old brother.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans for after graduation are to attend the University of Toronto for materials engineering and pursue my bachelor’s degree, and then hopefully a master’s.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Melanie Pringle’s and Starr Burger.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Italy because of its vast amount of culture and its history.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite movies is the Shawshank Redemption, and one of my favorite TV shows is Money Heist.

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
To the senior class, I would tell them not to allow any individual or group to suppress their individuality moving forward, because being able to express oneself’s individuality plays a large role in being happy. And to the younger students, I would tell them to make as many connections and experiences in high school while they still can. A large part of doing so is by participating in different clubs or on different teams. Basically, do as much as you can, while you still can.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
I would want to be in a sitcom like Brooklyn 99 because something interesting would always be happening.

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would have lunch with Neil Degrasse Tyson because I believe that a simple lunch with him would be rendered much more entertaining and that time would just seem to fly by. I would take him to Bistro ’67, as the restaurant utilizes many organic ingredients and employs students.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years, I see myself having found a spot in the workforce and getting ready to begin the rest of my life.

What is something on your bucket list?
Something on my bucket list is to go camping in various destinations across North America.

What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
The Beatles.

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is December because I get to spend a lot of time with my family during that month, and my favorite holiday is Christmas for the same reason. Best single day on the calendar is Christmas Eve because of all the decorations, family being together, and it also happens to be my girlfriend’s birthday too.

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
I would rate Whitby’s public library a 10 put of 10 for being so aesthetically pleasing and welcoming.

What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
I want to travel somewhere nice or go to a nice restaurant.

Who inspires you to be better?
My mother, who is a cancer survivor. She constantly inspires me to be a better version of myself and to have hope.
