Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I live with my dad, Peter, my mom, Tsahai, and my younger sister, Alexandra. We are a very tight knit family who enjoys spending time together, as well as taking part in many activities such as travelling. We have recently gotten a puppy named Hamilton.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on attending Ryerson University in the Fall for Media Production. I hope to spend these next four years in the program developing my media skills and exploring downtown Toronto.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Oishi Maki and State & Main
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
If I could travel anywhere in the world right now it would be Greece, specifically Santorini or Skopelos (the island where Mamma Mia was filmed). My dad is Greek, therefore, I will always love getting the chance to explore that side of my family. Also, my family has already travelled to Greece twice before, and during those trips, we visited many different islands that were all beautiful in their own way. I want to go back and visit these two islands because they each are unique and I believe I will become even fonder of the country after visiting.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favourite movies is Mamma Mia (specifically the first one) and one of my favourite TV shows is Greys Anatomy.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I were to give advice to my senior class, I would tell them to live every day of our post-secondary lives to the fullest. After the year we just experienced, and after everything we missed out on in our senior year, we deserve to allow ourselves to enjoy all the experiences that come our way.
If I were to give advice to the younger students at my school, I would say to enjoy every minute of high school and to take nothing for granted. Again, after going through COVID-19, there was a lot that was taken away from the high school experience, and for the older students, I believe a lot of us took it for granted. From here on out, appreciate everything and live in the moment.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
If I were to cast myself in a television show/series, I would want to be in Euphoria.
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
If I could choose anyone to have lunch with it would likely be Beyoncé. I have always been a huge fan of her music, her projects, and her passions as a whole, and have even done multiple dances to her music. I would hope to have lunch at her house so I can meet Jay-Z and her kids.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favourite thing about our community is the diversity. It is nice to be able to go to school or the store and come face to face with so many different people of different backgrounds, cultures, etc.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5-10 years, I see myself working as a Director of Photography or in a role that deals with Social Media Marketing. I also hope to be able to travel, and potentially even have a family of my own.
What is something on your bucket list?
Something on my bucket list is to travel to the Maldives.
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
My go-to singer when I can’t decide what to listen to is usually Beyoncé or Daniel Caesar.
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favourite month is July (my birth month), my favourite holiday is Christmas, and my favourite single day on the calendar is July 10th (my birthday).
